Full Tilt Poker Returns
Poker Stars bought out Full Tilt Poker. You'll be able to access either site giving you the best selection of poker games, promotional offers, and tournaments. Both poker sites are being run independently, however, so don't worry about finding repetition between the two sites. You should note that until further notice, players from the U.S. and a few other areas can only play for fun at FullTiltPoker.net.
What Happens with My Former AccountWhen you return to Full Tilt Poker, your screen name and log-in remain the same. You'll find the balance you had in June appears on the screen too. For players who had Ironman medals, they were converted to Full Tilt Poker's points. For anyone who was in the middle of a transaction to cash points in for Full Tilt rewards, the points have been deposited back into your account. Full Tilt Poker's poker room manager states the rewards will be just as good as they were when the site went down. Note that at this time, U.S. players will not have access to their points. If you're from the U.S., your account will show a cash balance, providing you had one when the site was shut down. To get that cash, you must apply for remission from the Department of Justice.
Promotional Offers to Get You StartedThose who can play for real money have a handful of special welcome bonus available. Start with the Free Poker reward. You'll earn a 100% match on your first three deposits, up to $200 each time. New players also receive a free tournament ticket for a multi-table tournament or a sit and go game. There's the Deal Me In bonus that builds as you play. The bonus amount will be at least $200 and includes a Rush Poker Ring ticket that's value is also dependent on the size of your bonus. The Deal Me In freeroll tournaments have at least $250,000 in prizes, with many of the prizes valued at $10,000 starting out. There are Happy Hours every night of the week. From November 12th to the 18th, you'll earn double, triple, or quadruple points on games like Hold 'em, Omaha, and Rush Poker. You can also win entry to the FTOPS that has more than $300,000 in prizes. Buy-ins are discounted and start at as little as $8.70 for seat values starting at $109. Head to FullTiltPoker.com and start playing your favorite games for real money. If you're in a country that does not allow real-money poker, the site will have a message on the screen letting you know.
