SHFL and Bally Join Forces to Create Online Casino Games

Bally Technologies and SHFL Entertainment recently announced they're teaming up on a line of online table games. The content will run on SHFL's iGaming platform. This is the first step in helping Bally set up to offer online poker through its Golden Nugget casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, and the properties they own through American Casino & Entertainment: Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada, Charlie's Casinos in Arizona, and Stratosphere Casino Hotel in Las Vegas.

What This Partnership Means

With the partnership between Bally Technologies and SHFL, they plan to release free play and real money online poker, table games, slots, sports betting, and social gaming. This is the first step in Bally's GoldenNuggetPoker.com site. They're focusing on four of their most successful games to start: Casino War, Let it Ride, Three Cared Poker, and Texas Hold'em.

The success of these online games does depend on how the new online poker bill does with the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Recently Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senator Jon Kyl admitted they're less confident about their bill making it through Congress.
