Which Casino Game Has The Best Odds Of Winning?

When you go to a land-based casino or play casino games online, your goal is to win. You may enjoy the fun, but you're really there to win some cash. To do so, you need to know which casino game has the best odds of winning. We took a closer look and came up with the best three games to play in a casino.

#1 - Blackjack

The odds of winning a hand of Blackjack are just about 50/50. The goal of the game is to get a 21 or as close to that total as possible without exceeding it. Face cards are the Jack, Queen, and King. They are each worth 10 points. Number cards are worth the number appearing on them. The Ace is worth 1 or 11 points. A face card and an Ace together are a Blackjack (10 plus 11).

As the winner all comes down to the cards that are dealt, there is an equal chance of you getting a hand that is better than the dealer's. This makes it one of the easiest games to win in a casino.

There are strategies you can use. Stand when you have a hand worth 17 or more points. It's not worth the risk. Blackjack gives you the option to double down or to split your hand. If the dealer has a card worth 2 to 9 points and you're holding a 10 or A, it's worth doubling. If your risk pays off, you get twice the cash.

Say you have two Aces in your hand. Together, they're worth 2 or 12 points. Split your hand. You are now playing two hands and have two chances to get a face card for a Blackjack. You can also split your hands when you have matching face cards and want to try for at least one Blackjack.

#2 - Craps

Craps can seem like a pretty complex game, but if you bet carefully, it can frequently payout. The game involves dice that are rolled and totaled. The value of those dice is important to your bet. There are dozens of ways you can bet in Craps. Your best odds will be with the “Pass” and “Come” or “Don't Pass” and “Don't Come” bets.

The Pass bet is used on the “Come Out” roll. You'll see a black chip on the table that says “off” if you're in the Come Out roll. If the rolled dice total a 7 or 11, you win. If it's a 2, 3, or 12, you automatically lose. Other numbers are called “the Point.” At that point, you want to get one of these Points before a seven is rolled to keep winning.

A Don't Pass bet is the opposite. You don't want a 7 or 11 to get rolled on the Come Out roll. You win with a 2 or 3. You tie with a 12.

After the Come Out roll, you can make Come/Don't Come bets. They work just like the Pass/Don't Pass bets. The only difference is that they occur outside of that Come Out roll.

#3- Roulette

Again, you have a lot of potential bets to make in Roulette. Stick to Blacks or Reds. If you pick reds and the ball lands on a red space, you win. If you lose, you still have a high chance of winning with another bet. Betting on just one color puts your odds of winning at 50/50.

You can also bet on a specific number and hope for the best. If you do manage to pick a winning number, you'll win 36 times your bet. Keep track of the last numbers picked. If you notice a number winning more often than others, you could try that number and see what happens.

What About Slots?

A lot of people like to play slots. They like the excitement, the bonus games, and the potential of winning jackpots. Slots won't have the best odds on casino games. If you want to play slots, see if you can find the payout percentage.

Aim for a payout percentage of at least 97 percent. This means that after hundreds, thousands, or even millions of spins, the machine pays back 97 percent or higher of the money the game has taken in from players. You could also check the winner's list and see which slot games most often have winners. Those games often give you the best odds of winning.
