Archer is a fairly basic title, as slot game titles go. Does that mean the game itself, created by Playtech, is a disappointment? We certainly don’t think so. As you’re about to find out, the game looks good – with detailed characters and symbols – and it works nicely as well.
There are five reels, so it’s all good so far… but you get 243 ways to win with this slot, since it is an ‘all ways’ game.
You have four coin values – one cent, five cents, 10 cents and a quarter. This is then multiplied by 25 if you go for a x1 multiplier on the game. You can go up to x10 your bet, which is basically the same as playing one to 10 coins on the assumed 25 lines.
The wild is a pile of gold coins. This will appear on the second, third and fourth reels and will stand in for everything except for the two golden crossed arrows. This latter symbol is the scatter, and three or more will bring you seven free games to enjoy. It can also trigger a feature called Expand and Split.
Some of the symbol spaces have arrow borders on them. If you get a scatter anywhere on the screen when these bordered symbols appear in a winning line, those symbols will expand and split any other symbols on the same reel (or reels). This means you will essentially have two symbols in the same space… and that can enhance your options for winning combinations.
You have the free spins to try and trigger, and the good news is you can do so time and time again. Now doesn’t that make for a potentially long free spins game? We think so. Even if you only get seven free games, you can still enjoy the Expand and Split feature as part of them if you’re lucky.
Make sure you get a try at Archer now. It may not have the most innovative of titles, but you can certainly look forward to having a great time trying to trigger some of the better elements of the game as you try to win some prizes.
