We know… every slot game released claims to be something different from the traditional slots you might have played many times already. But this particular offering from Core Gaming really is different. The title gives you a clue, using the word fracpot instead of jackpot to indicate what might be in store for you…
It’s a fairly ordinary combination here, with five reels in action and a maximum of 20 lines.
You can play for as little as one cent per line, going up to $100 as the maximum bet in the game.
The golden coin is a wild in this slot. It will replace most of the other symbols the game provides. The one exception – or should we say the three exceptions – is the selection of keys also found in the game. These act as scatters and come in bronze, silver and gold.
Yes, and it involves those keys. The idea is to get two identical keys to show up on the first two reels in the game. If this happens, you get a chance to play through a special event called the Fracpot event. You have three jackpots (or fracpots, in this case) indicated on the game screen. These are bronze, silver and gold fracpots. If you get two silver keys, for example, the other two fracpots will close and only the silver one will remain open.
The game will try and tempt you to sell the keys back for a price. You don’t have to do this, but if you do you get the prize given. You can adjust your position by gambling whatever you have earned thus far. You need five identical keys to win a fracpot, but you can cash out early if you wish to take a smaller prize. After all, you don’t know whether you are going to get another key or not.
For something completely different, as we promised, this game does fit the bill. It may not have many of the features you would normally associate with an online slot, but it does offer plenty of perks to get to grips with. How much would you gamble for a shot at a fracpot?
