Chinese culture has inspired many a slot game over the years, and we’ve seen a few of these slots in recent times alone. Now we have yet another one to review, which is called Lucky Dragons.
Released by Top Game, the slot is bright and engaging enough, and introduces you to some of its main features via the welcome screen. But what happens beyond that?
The number of lines in play is not apparent until you look at the pay table, which reveals there are 50. You can spot the five reels easily enough though.
It’s possible to choose a coin values of several amounts between one and 50 cents. Meanwhile, the plus and minus buttons to either side of the play button allow you to adjust your bet from one to 10 coins on each line.
The golden Chinese coin is worth finding, because it is the wild for Lucky Dragons. It replaces all other symbols but not the scatter, which is a golden Buddha statue. This one only appears on the middle three reels, whereas the wild can appear anywhere. If you get three scatters, you get six free games on Lucky Dragons with 2x your bet awarded as well.
When you get into the free spins feature, you will get a wild added to each of the second, third and fourth reels. These remain in place throughout the spins.
Make sure you watch out for the scatters as well, because each appearance of one brings you another free game to enjoy.
We were really impressed by the appearance of the game here. The graphics are excellent, especially when you manage to win a prize on a line. The relevant symbols will animate and almost appear to pop out of the screen for you. It’s one of those slots that is even more impressive to play than it is to look at.
The background is virtually non-existent here, but it doesn’t matter. In fact, it makes it easier to play as it entices you to focus on what is going on with the reels themselves. Give it a shot and try and claim your free games while you’re there.
