Jurassic Slots

Jurassic Slots is a grungy and uneven slot game that is odd on the ease but easy on the wallet. Featuring a mishmash set of art pieces with some somewhat bland design choices and seemingly a lot of heart, this is an odd slot on all fronts and from all angles to review. On the one hand, it looks pretty weird and out there. On the other hand, it also is kind of endearing in how ramshackle all of the different elements are when combined with the gameplay. It has a decent set of features, and is not entirely good or bad. A sight to behold is the best we can say for this game, which at times looks like a parody of itself, and at times manages to be pretty good. Give it a try if you think any of this sounds weird, as that is about the only way to figure it out for yourself as to whether or not you would enjoy what they have on offer here.

The premise of Jurassic Slots is vaguely dinosaur themed things combined with human elements that have no place in that period. It is basically Jurassic Park the Slot, only without the formal license or anywhere approaching the production values. This is the source of the game’s faults as well as much of its charm. In the same vein as an Adult Swim show, some of it is so bad that it ends up being pretty good.

This is the main source of unintentional hilarity in Jurassic Slots. The graphics here are all over the place, looking like a combination of odd 3d renderings and cartooning. Some dinosaurs look a little chibi, others look more realistic. It is an odd mishmash of vaguely dinosaur looking characters and jeeps, with the occasional scatter symbol thrown in, which you will know because it is literally the would “scatter.” It is all somewhat amusing to see play out, almost like a high school student’s first flash game project, which is part of what makes it oddly charming.

The gameplay in Jurassic Slots is nothing to write home about, but it does make some productive use of classic formulas with some additional features thrown in. The jackpot is decent, the bets range nicely from a penny to $10 per line, and there is a 4 tiered bonus round that keeps things interesting. With 5 reels, it also the 25 paylines you would come to expect.

The saving grace here really is that jackpot, alongside the quirky charm that goes into the way that it looks. The gameplay is nothing to write home about, but it also is not bad, either, and moves along at a steady pace to keep things as interesting as the way it looks.

+ Cute theme + Graphics are so bad that they are good + Great jackpot + Nice bonus round features

- Low budget - Wonky around the edges - Clearly not intended to be so bad it is good

Is it Buggy?

In the time we spent playing this game, we did not encounter any bugs, problems, or errors. The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that. We also encountered no issues in processing winnings or payments, and everything ran very smooth just like you would expect across many varied devices in a variety of ecosystems and operating systems.

Jurassic Slots Is one of those games that you play knowing that it is so bad that it is good. With decent gameplay and an odd experimental look to the graphics, it is a sight to behold, and a hilarity to play. If you like dinosaurs or Adult Swim, you will likely laugh at this unintentionally funny and high paying slot game.
