It is basically Jurassic Park the Slot, only without the formal license or anywhere approaching the production values. This is the source of the game’s faults as well as much of its charm. In the same vein as an Adult Swim show, some of it is so bad that it ends up being pretty good.
Presentation
This is the main source of unintentional hilarity in Jurassic Slots. The graphics here are all over the place, looking like a combination of odd 3d renderings and cartooning. Some dinosaurs look a little chibi, others look more realistic. It is an odd mishmash of vaguely dinosaur looking characters and jeeps, with the occasional scatter symbol thrown in, which you will know because it is literally the would “scatter.” It is all somewhat amusing to see play out, almost like a high school student’s first flash game project, which is part of what makes it oddly charming.
Mechanics
The gameplay in Jurassic Slots is nothing to write home about, but it does make some productive use of classic formulas with some additional features thrown in. The jackpot is decent, the bets range nicely from a penny to $10 per line, and there is a 4 tiered bonus round that keeps things interesting.
